Using Our Proprietary Growing Technology
When you add living, green walls to a work environment, it has a proven positive effect on people. Vertical garden planters, designs in every shape, size and color, can be grown economically in urban settings: a cost-effective way to lower work stress, decrease illness, and encourage all members of an organization to mix and socialize.
Municipal, commercial, urban spaces, offices often grow popular indoor plants such as ferns, short grasses or cacti.
Our green wall plants come with their own sensors, irrigation, lighting, and climate control systems and unique growing software, which automatically monitors all plant growth phases and significantly reduces the need for manual maintenance.
The key to our solutions is keeping the soil as a natural buffer in our vertical soil-based platform technology
You can grow air-purifying plants such as English ivy, snake plant, spider plant, broad lady palm, weeping figs, Chinese evergreen. Other good indoor vertical growing plants include vines, ferns, philodendron, cacti or aloe vera.
Imagine how plants naturally grow and how the sun works in the process of a plant’s photosynthesis. The sun is powerfully strong, and it comes in at angles. So that’s how we designed our lighting – to deliver angled light that changes throughout the day. We aim to provide the best conditions for the plants to grow.
Cities are known to be several degrees hotter than in the suburbs, especially in the summer. All the asphalt, concrete, tall buildings, cars (subways, trains, other transport), dark rooftops – hold the heat. By contrast, green spaces in cities (where there are parks, trees, plants) don’t absorb the heat and cool down your city. Vertical gardening saves valuable land in the city and integrates plants as part of design and building plans.
The design of buildings can retain or repel heat. Using building materials common to city structures such as concrete, brick, glass, or stone exterior walls actually retain heat in the city. By adding a living wall to the building’s exterior, you can save your building’s electricity bills year-round and work toward lowering your city’s temperature.
